Sancti Petri

It is situated between Chiclana de la Frontera and Conil, on the Atlantic coast of the province of Cádiz, just near La Barrosa.

Sancti-Petri is a large 4,000 hectares urbanisation with 4 kilometres of seashore. It has apartments, beautiful and spacious chalets, and lots of land available to build overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Sancti-Petri has numerous bars, shops, wonderful restaurants, and a golf course. The area also boasts horse riding and eight tennis courts. You can enjoy yourself practising golf, equestrian club, playing tennis or paddle in the sea or maybe you'd rather ride on the exclusive bicycle road.

The golf course, which was designed by Severiano Ballesteros, is an outstanding course not only for expert players but also for beginners. This golf course's main features are four water obstacles on the holes 2,5,7,8,14,15. The 6th hole has its green on the very same beach, the 18th where the designer put his initial letter on a bunker, and the 26th, which is the most difficult. You can play in three runs of 9 holes each, as the course has 27 holes. Its fairways are wide and surrounded by hundreds of different kinds of trees. The course has also practising area for 40 people.

How to get there: From Seville/Jerez: A-4 Motorway towards Cádiz and follow the road signs to Chiclana, next, follow road signs to playa la Barrosa/Sancti-Petri, then follow signs to Golf Novo Sancti-Petri. From Malaga/Algeciras: N-340 Road to Chiclana, then follow the road signs to Sancti-Petri/ Playa La Barrosa. Nearest Airport: Jerez de la Frontera (50 km.)
