The area of La Zenia lies approximately 8km
south of Torrevieja. The beautiful sandy beaches of Orihuela
Costa can be easily reached on foot.
There is an opportunity to go shopping no matter
whether it is a small wine shop you require or a big supermarket,
there are numerous restaurants and small bars around the area
making it ideal for those people who don't have transport.
The area of construction in Playa Flamenca
and La Zenia includes a large number of Urbanizations with
detached villas, townhouses and apartments most with a community
swimming pool.
By public bus one can reach Torrevieja in no
time at all. Within easy reach are also the golf courses of
Las Ramblas and Campoamor and Villamartin.
In Playa Flamenca and La Zenia there is a mixture
of different nationalities including Spanish, German, English
and other Europeans.
La Zenia and Playa Flamenca being residential
areas, even during the winter there is still a hive of activity.
