Oropesa
Yet another of the more developed tourist resorts
on the Costa del Azahar is Oropesa, whose beaches spread from
the one at Torre La Sal at Ribera de Cabanes as far as Benicasim.
Oropesa has two fine beaches: La Concha
(the shell), so called because of its curious resemblance
to the one at San Sebastian, and Morro de Gos. There are tourists
constructions all around these beaches and now even on the
nearby hilltops.
Other beaches at Oropesa include La Renega and the famous
Playetes de Bellver, the latter surrounded by an elitist urban
development. Recently, a Marina has been built.
