If you continue your journey in a southerly
direction from Peniscola you come to the port of Callis Alcala
de Chivert. The tourist area has grown up around the village
of Alcoceber.
 In
the last few years Alcala de Chivert-Alcoceber has become
one of the most important locations on the Costa del Azahar.
Where the mountains meet the sea we find small coves and beaches
and there are hotels facilities of a high standard. At the
residential complex of Las Fuentes there is also a yacht harbour.
On the coast at Alcala de Chivert there
is a summer camp, run by the Autonomous Government of Valencia,
which is visited by young people from all over Spain. The
visitor should also make a trip to Cap I Corp where the monuments
are practically in contact with the waters of the Mediterranean.
